This 4th year, folx know what to expect: a calendar focusing on horror. In particular this year, its indie creators with a queen of the horror world who is a regular of indie films, big budgets, and everything in between as the cover lady. If you have not recognized her yet, she is the one and only Eileen Dietz (The Exorcist, Itsy Bitsy, a total of 119 credits to this day).

Following a breakup, a young drag queen goes to the countryside to regroup and stay with his aging grandmother. There, he finds a small community that allows him to find himself again.
The Good Exorcist (2018)
An unusual priest arrives on a property where a demonic presence is causing problems and chaos. As he works through the situation, he is called to do an exorcism which may be more than he can handle.
Slapface (2021) [Fright Fest 2021]
Following the death of their mother, a boy and his older brother do what they can to survive together. As the boy looks for guidance and support, he finds something in the woods that may or may not be what he needs.
Five Great LGBTQ Films
We’re in the thick of pride month (Go see “Booksmart”!) and as many online entities and blogs celebrate the month, we’re naming five of our personal favorite LGBTQ films of all time. They’re ordered by year, as I have a hard time naming my favorite of the sub-genre. These are only some of the many excellent titles, of course, as there are some banner films like “Brokeback Mountain,” “Jeffrey,” “The Bird Cage,” “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” and so much more.
