It seems like time just flies by and we’re back to trying to figure out what to get the movie lover in our life, or what to treat ourselves with. Apocalypse Now: Final Cut (40th Anniversary 6 Disc Edition) – Lionsgate
The restored 4-disc “Apocalypse Now Final Cut” anniversary set now also includes the Theatrical Cut and Extended Cut (Redux) of Francis Ford Coppola’s Vietnam set thriller starring Martin Sheen and Marlon Brando. Also included is the acclaimed, controversial documentary “Hearts of Darkness,” which chronicles Francis Ford Coppola’s quest to finish the film, which left him virtually losing his mind and threatening suicide. The new edition is Loaded with hours of in-depth special features, the set will also feature the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival Q&A with Coppola and the prolific Steven Soderbergh, which has not been seen or heard outside of the festival until now, as well as newly discovered behind-the-scenes footage. Batman Beyond: The Complete Series Deluxe Limited Edition – Warner Bros.
“Batman Beyond” is the landmark animated television series that illuminated the imagination of a new generation of Batman fans with its creation of an altogether new hero, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has remastered the acclaimed and celebrated series for its first-ever presentation on Blu-ray™ in the all-encompassing “Batman Beyond: The Complete Animated Series Limited Edition.”

The package features approximately 1,500 minutes of entertainment spread over four Blu-ray™ discs, plus the two bonus discs of enhanced content. In addition to a newly-remastered Blu-ray presentation of the controversial “Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker,” there are 15 featurettes on the bonus discs, highlighted by two new inside looks at the beloved television series, led by Nostalgic Tomorrow, a gathering of Batman Beyond production talent and cast led by executive producer Bruce Timm and actors Kevin Conroy and Will Friedle, the voices of Batman and Terry McGinnis, respectively. The bonus discs also spotlight four episodes with audio commentary from Timm and select members of the production team.

The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Series Limited Edition – Warner Bros.
The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Series, includes all 279 original uncut episodes from 12 seasons of the top-rated sitcom with hours of special features along with an additional disc including three exclusive and never-before-seen featurettes. It’s available in a Limited Edition and a(n upcoming) regular release; the actual final season is being sold as a single release as well, with the new features for the particular season.

Game of Thrones: The Complete Collection – HBO Entertainment
HBO releases collectible packaging editions for the iconic fantasy series, including the Game of Thrones®: The Complete Collection which is packaged in a visually stunning wooden shadow box case, featuring beautiful, multi-layered panel designs by Robert Ball (the artist behind the “Beautiful Death” series) that summarize the Game of Thrones story. Each season is represented by a different layer, showcasing iconic characters and memorable moments from the show, all clambering toward the Iron Throne. The set also contains a “Hand of the King” pin clasp, which holds all nine custom plated disc sleeves. “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” is now available and captures the notorious assassin immediately after Chapter 2. After breaking the core rule of his assassin guild, Wick is now on the run with every available hit man after his head for a hefty bounty. Now Wick has to rely on his wits and skills to thwart every attempt at his life, while also turning to some old allies, including the leader of an underground legion of assassins, and a female hit man with a set of very well trained attack dogs. “Parabellum” is a brilliant and excellent action film, and the continuation of a wonderful saga.

Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return: The Gauntlet – Shout! Factory
With the raucous celebration for season eleven of “Mystery Science Theater 3000,” the gang from Moon 13 is back with season twelve also known as: “The Gauntlet”! It’s a new challenge from Kinga Forrester and “TV’s Son of TV’s Frank” Max (Felicia Day and Patton Oswalt returns!),  that should test the sanity of Jonah (Jonah Ray Rodriguez), Crow, Tom, and Gypsy. This new season is sleeker but still hysterically funny, as the group riffs their way through lemons like “Atlantic Rim,” the infamous ET rip off “MAC and Me,” “Killer Fish,” “Lords of the Deep,” “The Day Time Ended,” and “Ator”! Where are You!” released on Blu-ray™ for the first time, as well as a Digital Copy of the series. This must-own box set has some fun extras. The set contains all-new HD content and Scooby-Doo collectibles including an exclusive Scooby-Doo Funko key chain, and a mini Scooby-Doo Encyclopedia.

Shudder – Shudder
If you’re still mourning the loss of “Chiller TV” and Syfy just isn’t doing it for you these days, why not subscribe to “Shudder”? The epic horror streaming service has amassed a loyal following, debuting underground and indie horror films, unleashing classics that haven’t come to Blu-Ray yet, and airing genuinely excellent original films and programs. Along with three channels on the service for members to surf through, Shudder also has great original programs like “Creepshow,” “The Last Drive In,” popular series like “N0S4A2,” and “Channel Zero,” exclusive horror pod casts, and the annual Halloween “Ghoul Log,” a twenty four hour lit Jack O Lantern for folks that love the idea of the Yule Log, but aren’t quite ready for Christmas yet. “Shudder” is a fantastic service well worth the money.
